Laerte Borges's late challenge caught a Ouro Negro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laerte Borges helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fluminense FC's Laerte Borges got a free kick in the 44th minute.
