Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fausto de Godoi started the match with the kick off. Fausto de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Chico de Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Fausto de Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chico de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, NAVAS's Obar Xavier got a free kick in the 13th minute. Dito Mendonça was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Steel Fox's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 16th match minute, NAVAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Obar Xavier to maneuver through the defense. Chico de Barros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulinho McLaren went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eliézer Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulinho McLaren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulinho McLaren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chico de Barros having to make a save. Obar Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Júlio Camargo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliézer Arce in the 37th minute. After 39 minutes of play, NAVAS's Fausto de Godoi made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chico de Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Júlio Camargo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dito Mendonça in the 45th minute of the match. Eliézer Arce struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Júlio Camargo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steel Fox. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dito Mendonça to strike the kick off in the second half. Eliézer Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Steel Fox's goal looked a bit too open when Gláuber Gonçalves came free, but Chico de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fausto de Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the NAVAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto de Godoi couldn't finish the play. Eliézer Arce took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Júlio Camargo. Júlio Camargo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Júlio Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dito Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eliézer Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute Eliézer Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Camargo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dito Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Camargo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Júlio Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, NAVAS's goal looked a bit too open when Dito Mendonça came free, but Júlio Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NAVAS played a much better game than Steel Fox and deserved their victory. The Steel Fox players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
