Ediberto de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlindo Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, Acudes's Yan de Sousa got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Haroldo Peixoto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ediberto de Sena. Acudes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Belmiro Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arlindo Valle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ediberto de Sena having to make a save. Ediberto de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlindo Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Belmiro Barbosa to make the kick off. In the 56th minute of the match, Tiago Gabriel Novaes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ediberto de Sena was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 61 minutes of play, Acudes's Belmiro Barbosa made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind HOLANDA's goalkeeper Jânio Freitas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Belmiro Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Freitas having to interfere. Ediberto de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fiori Maranhense in the 80th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiago Gabriel Novaes got free with Ediberto de Sena in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 81 played minutes Acudes got a freekick which was hit by Adilson Varela. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Yan de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acudes's supporters rose to their feet, but Yan de Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jânio Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 97 minutes into the game, Belmiro Barbosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jânio Freitas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Acudes fully deserved thier win.
