Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luís Paulo de Senna got the match started through his kick off. Felippe Carvalho spun around in front of the goal 8 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Furia Rubi's goal. Furia Rubi's Dedê Palmeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Furia Rubi from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute, Celso Corrêa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Luís Paulo de Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo de Senna in the 14th minute of play forced Furia Rubi's goalkeeper Dedê Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Jorge Tande was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moradas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Furia Rubi the free kick. In the 15th match minute, Moradas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Tande to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Furia Rubi's Bruno Prestes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Moradas's zone, Sandrinho Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateus Toscano came out of the goal and Sandrinho Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandrinho Baptista in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateus Toscano saved Moradas from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Moradas's Juarês Viana got a free kick in the 20th minute. Jaime Pirani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mateus Toscano having to make a save. With a little luck, Furia Rubi's Dedê Palmeira got control of the ball when Felippe Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, Jaime Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Furia Rubi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pirani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mateus Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandrinho Baptista in the 36th minute of the match. If Sandrinho Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Juarês Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandrinho Baptista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mateus Toscano having to make a save. If Jaime Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Moradas's Mateus Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pirani in the 40th minute of play. Sandrinho Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Toscano having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sandrinho Baptista made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo de Senna in the 52nd minute of play forced Furia Rubi's goalkeeper Dedê Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dedê Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paulo de Senna in the 71st minute of play. Jaime Pirani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateus Toscano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Furia Rubi players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
