Bruno Sena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Afonso Faria having to make a save. After having played for 14 minutes, Bruno Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube de Campo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardinho Britto hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Dorian Jacinto might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ademar Sarmento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dorian Jacinto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st match minute, Clube de Campo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléber Santana to maneuver through the defense. When Jorginho Diniz came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Montenêses fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorginho Diniz couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute Bruno Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Sena in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Faria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Faria having to interfere. Marcelo Prestes hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

When Bruno Sena came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Clube de Campo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Sena couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute of the match Doriva Zanette sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ademar Sarmento skillfully saved the ball. If Denílson Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvério Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Luiz Gustavo Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Afonso Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Denílson Mineiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ademar Sarmento. Clube de Campo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denílson Mineiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Denílson Mineiro struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Ademar Sarmento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montenêses. Afonso Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Sena in the 75th minute of the match. Bruno Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute, Ricardinho Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorian Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Clube de Campo getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Marcelo Prestes hit a great ball. Bruno Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardinho Britto hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Clube de Campo's Cícero Terra broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The Montenêses supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Clube de Campo's performance. The match ended with a win for Clube de Campo.
