Spectators: 6669 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oséas do Nascimento took the kick off in the first half of the match. Benjamin Rosa hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, João Paulo Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dieguinho Valle came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Jataba's Fred Zonta. But to his dismay, Fred Zonta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 13th minute, Alexandre Seco fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dieguinho Valle, passed just outside the right post. Dieguinho Valle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fred Zonta in the 15th minute. Alexandre Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vânderson Tasso's late challenge caught a Leoprea fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vânderson Tasso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Alexandre Seco fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dieguinho Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Saldanha in the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to Leoprea fc getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Oséas do Nascimento hit a great ball. If Oséas do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the game, Leoprea fc's Oséas do Nascimento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabinho Bastos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Leoprea fc's Oséas do Nascimento got a free kick in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexandre Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dieguinho Valle having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Juvenal Neves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leoprea fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jataba the free kick. After 54 played minutes Leoprea fc got a freekick which was hit by Juvenal Neves. Oséas do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabinho Bastos having to interfere. Dieguinho Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Jataba's Fred Zonta got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leoprea fc's goalkeeper Dieguinho Valle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Leoprea fc's Juvenal Neves got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Jataba's Paulão Tande broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Alexandre Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jataba's Fred Zonta got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Oséas do Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Leoprea fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oséas do Nascimento couldn't finish the play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jataba's Fabinho Bastos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Jataba from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cássio Lima during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
