Spectators: 7259 (Terracing: 5446, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Emanuel Hermes made the kick off which started today's match. Gernando Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Márcio Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Lopez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Márcio Dionísio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Estrellas's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Hermes came free, but Emerson do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute Emanuel Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Leonardo Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Estrellas's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Hermes came free, but Emerson do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Virgílio de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emerson do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Hermes in the 30th minute of play. Gernando Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sport Club Z15's Márcio Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Lopez in the 36th minute of play. Gernando Marinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romário Medeiros during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Estrellas booed when Sport Club Z15 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romário Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Virgílio de Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gernando Marinho made a kick off. Virgílio de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Emerson do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leonardo Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 73 minutes, Emanuel Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport Club Z15's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Hermes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute of the match, Leonardo Lopez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Márcio Dionísio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gernando Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio Dionísio having to interfere. Márcio Dionísio came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Estrellas's Leonardo Lopez. But to his dismay, Leonardo Lopez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Leonardo Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th match minute, Sport Club Z15 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvério Leal to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Estrellas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
