The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sidnei Santos scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Murilo Madureira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 5 played minutes Estrellas got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Lopez. After a rather tough play, Estrellas's Guto da Silveira got a free kick in the 8th minute. Emerson do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilton Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Estrellas's Emerson do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Santos in the 15th minute of play. If Jardel Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emerson do Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Cearense, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Gonçalo Motta charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonçalo Motta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gonçalo Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, MadeInBrazil's Pedro Luiz Carneiro got a free kick in the 31st minute. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Wilton Cearense sped through Estrellas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emerson do Nascimento. Emerson do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel Santos in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Santos in the 45th minute of play forced Estrellas's goalkeeper Emerson do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half MadeInBrazil were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gernando Marinho was the one to do the kick off. Jardel Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Emerson do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Gernando Marinho made a precise shot to the right of Murilo Madureira. MadeInBrazil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Emerson do Nascimento made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Wilton Cearense sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Lopez in the 63rd minute of play forced MadeInBrazil's goalkeeper Murilo Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes, Ezequiel Toscano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estrellas and the MadeInBrazil players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes, MadeInBrazil's Pedro Luiz Carneiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emerson do Nascimento came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MadeInBrazil reached it. After 68 minutes, Ulysses da Silveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MadeInBrazil and the Estrellas players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to MadeInBrazil getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ulysses da Silveira hit a great ball. Wilton Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Emerson do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Estrellas's Emerson do Nascimento got control of the ball when Wilton Cearense tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Estrellas's zone, Jardel Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emerson do Nascimento came out of the goal and Jardel Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Nando Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Estrellas's Emerson do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Santos in the 89th minute of play. Murilo Madureira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonardo Lopez went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Jardel Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Estrellas were victorious despite being under pressure from MadeInBrazil for much of the match.
