The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Leonardo Lopez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Dieguinho Valle made a huge save. Dieguinho Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Gernando Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dieguinho Valle having to interfere. With a little luck, Leoprea fc's Dieguinho Valle got control of the ball when Ezequiel Toscano tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Estrellas's Gernando Marinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dieguinho Valle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Juvenal Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Lopez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Dieguinho Valle made a huge save. In the 47th minute Gernando Marinho suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 48 minutes into the game, Ulisses Rodrigues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leoprea fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estrellas the free kick. Dieguinho Valle had in the 50thth minute some difficulties stopping Carlos Augusto Cearense's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 50 minutes into the match, Carlos Augusto Cearense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dieguinho Valle. Leoprea fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Augusto Cearense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oséas do Nascimento made a kick off. Oséas do Nascimento came free in the 57th minute and tried to tip the ball over Emerson do Nascimento, but to the joy of Estrellas's supporters the ball went over. If Ezequiel Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 minutes, Gonçalo Motta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estrellas and the Leoprea fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Estrellas got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Motta. In the 66th minute of the match, Ademir Rossi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emerson do Nascimento saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Leonardo Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Dieguinho Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Estrellas getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gonçalo Motta hit a great ball. Ademir Rossi might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emerson do Nascimento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ademir Rossi ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Leoprea fc booed when Estrellas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Ezequiel Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Lopez struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Dieguinho Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estrellas. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cássio Lima during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Leonardo Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrellas's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Lopez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dieguinho Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonardo Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Leoprea fc players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Estrellas.
