When Júlio Gerber came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the M VALOS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Gerber couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Delfim Salgado sped through new time's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Vergílio. In the 18th minute Delfim Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When M VALOS FC's Delfim Salgado in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Delfim Salgado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. new time's Bruno Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Salgado in the 30th minute of play. M VALOS FC's Delfim Salgado got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37thth minute of the game Delfim Salgado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but new time's Bruno Vergílio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Delfim Salgado was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, M VALOS FC's Laércio Capixaba got control of the ball when Geovânio da Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zeca Messias hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Kaká Queirós struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Laércio Capixaba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for new time. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Cavalcante in the 63rd minute of play forced new time's goalkeeper Bruno Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 played minutes new time got a freekick which was hit by Geovânio da Costa. After 66 played minutes new time got a freekick which was hit by Percival Trigo. new time's Bruno Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Salgado in the 72nd minute of play. Laércio Capixaba was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Valdomiro de Souza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valdomiro de Souza really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. If Júlio Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Salgado in the 78th minute of play. When M VALOS FC's Delfim Salgado in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
