After some careless play in the PalmeirasRO defense, Elivélton Amorim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kiko Cerezo. The PalmeirasRO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kiko Cerezo should have stopped the shot. Jailson Novaes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Vivaldo Sena took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Mário Peres to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Novaes in the 21st minute of play forced PalmeirasRO's goalkeeper Kiko Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match, Glauco Siqueira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mário Peres was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jailson Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Desportiva Guarabira's goalkeeper Mário Peres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kléberson Borges. Tadeu do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Desportiva Guarabira's William Soeiro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. William Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Novaes in the 39th minute of play forced PalmeirasRO's goalkeeper Kiko Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Jailson Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Desportiva Guarabira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jailson Novaes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jailson Novaes struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Kiko Cerezo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Desportiva Guarabira. A collision led to PalmeirasRO getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jaime Machado hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vivaldo Sena made a kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Desportiva Guarabira's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valdomiro Arruda was slow to take the kick. During this time PalmeirasRO's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Valdomiro Arruda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Desportiva Guarabira's Mário Peres did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vivaldo Sena in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mário Peres saved Desportiva Guarabira from getting behind. Jaime Machado hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The supporters of PalmeirasRO booed when Desportiva Guarabira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Vivaldo Sena came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the PalmeirasRO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vivaldo Sena couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jailson Novaes in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kiko Cerezo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jailson Novaess short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Kiko Cerezo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Abelardo Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Cerezo having to interfere. Mário Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivaldo Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Jailson Novaes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jailson Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Desportiva Guarabira booed when PalmeirasRO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 played minutes Desportiva Guarabira got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Domingues. Jailson Novaes struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Kiko Cerezo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Desportiva Guarabira. Kiko Cerezo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jailson Novaes went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Jailson Novaes scored 1-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kiko Cerezo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The PalmeirasRO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Desportiva Guarabira were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
