Adelino Coelho came out and tried to block the shot, but Claudinei Saldanha slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 29th minute. The referee ignored Guascamol FC's protests and gave Dário Barral a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bomba FC booed when Guascamol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball.
