Jacarecoara SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Jacarecoara SS's Adhemar Toledo got control of the ball when Marco Abreu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Jacarecoara SS's goalkeeper Adhemar Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Abreu. The wind increased when Orlando Guerra made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Guerra in the 55th minute of play forced Bomba FC's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rony Pimenta charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rony Pimenta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Jacarecoara SS got a freekick which was hit by Rony Pimenta. When Marco Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Bomba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Abreu couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Claudinei Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bomba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinei Saldanha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacarecoara SS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
