The supporters of Alvenápolis F.C. booed when PICA-PAU AMORA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando de Salles made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when José Vítor Rosa sent off a good shot on target. Fernando de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falcão Tande in the 23rd minute of the match. José Vítor Rosa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fernando de Salles firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 28th minute Falcão Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The goalkeeper, Fernando de Salles, was totally fooled by PICA-PAU AMORA FC's Elivélton Sanches, who 36 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 38 played minutes PICA-PAU AMORA FC got a freekick which was hit by José Vítor Rosa. With a little luck, Alvenápolis F.C.'s Fernando de Salles got control of the ball when José Vítor Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Osvaldo Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Gilson Silva came out of the goal and Frédson Tepedino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando de Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Falcão Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Alvenápolis F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Tande came free, but Fernando de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. PICA-PAU AMORA FC had won after a very even match.
