Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cícero Breckenfeld got the match started through his kick off. Rogério Cenić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vágner Rosa in the 5th minute of play. Cícero Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xie Kun Fan having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Vágner Rosa fired away a hard free kick towards the goal. Rogério Cenić moved to his left, but didn't have to make a save as the ball went out of bounds. In the 18th minute of the match Ernani Vianna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rogério Cenić showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edgar Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rogério Cenić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Anhandui's Vágner Rosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rogério Cenić narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd play minute Júlio de Barros came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Xie Kun Fan. 2-0. Vágner Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Cenić having to interfere. Vágner Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Rogério Cenić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

52 minutes into the match, Xanere's goalkeeper Rogério Cenić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vágner Rosa. In the 53rd match minute, Xanere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Romero to maneuver through the defense. Rogério Cenić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Maia in the 54th minute of the match. When Júlio de Barros came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Xanere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio de Barros couldn't finish the play. After 62 played minutes Anhandui got a freekick which was hit by Dino Amaral. Betão Meirelles was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 66 minutes, Júlio de Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xanere and the Anhandui players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Anhandui booed when Xanere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dino Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Betão Meirelles shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xie Kun Fan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Xanere's Rogério Cenić got control of the ball when Vágner Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 77 minutes, Júlio de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xanere's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio de Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Osvaldo Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Vágner Rosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Rogério Cenić made a huge save. If Cícero Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cícero Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xie Kun Fan having to interfere. A collision led to Anhandui getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ernani Vianna hit a great ball. Xanere were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
