After 11 played minutes Meia Lua FC got a freekick which was hit by Thomás Paranaense. Mauro Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Ernani Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enio Correia came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Malandriado FC's Geovani Breckenfeld. But to his dismay, Geovani Breckenfeld quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Franklin Eger hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Meia Lua FC's Eduardo Passos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Caio Simão. That made the score 1-1 after 25 minutes of play. Malandriado FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Jean Teles scored to the left of an out of position Caio Simão, making the score, 2-1. When Eduardo Passos came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Meia Lua FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Passos couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Meia Lua FC's Diamantino Arósio got a free kick in the 44th minute. Ernani Macedo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enio Correia. Meia Lua FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thomás Paranaense hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduardo Passos to make the kick off. Enio Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernani Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caio Simão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Enio Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Nascimento in the 58th minute of play. If Eduardo Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Ernani Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caio Simão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduardo Passos went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Mauro Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Enio Correia made a huge save. Eduardo Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio Simão having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Malandriado FC got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo do Valle. Eduardo Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Caio Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malandriado FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
