Tomás Tróia's late challenge caught a Camboata EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Tróia helped the player get up and apologised. Tomás Tróia hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Marcelo Jacinto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jean Teles went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Marcelo Jacinto made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Jean Teles sent off a good shot on target. Zézinho Leão hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Cristiano Reis's late challenge caught a Meia Lua FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristiano Reis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Meia Lua FC booed when Camboata EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camboata EC's Marcelo Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Passos in the 18th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Camboata EC's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Passos came free, but Marcelo Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Passos might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Jacinto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Passos ran back to his position shaking his head. Jean Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Nando Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Enio Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduardo Passos to make the kick off. Eduardo Passos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Marcelo Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mauro da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jean Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the game, Eduardo Passos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Marcelo Jacinto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71stth minute of the game Nando Brodel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meia Lua FC's Enio Correia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nando Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enio Correia having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Passos in the 77th minute of play forced Camboata EC's goalkeeper Marcelo Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean Teles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Jacinto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Camboata EC's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Teles came free, but Marcelo Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Jacinto came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Meia Lua FC's Eduardo Passos. But to his dismay, Eduardo Passos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Meia Lua FC had won after a very even match.
