Diaurum ES's Almir Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Paes in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Diaurum ES's goalkeeper Almir Rodrigues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Almir Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Igor Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rdth minute of the game Igor Mattos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diaurum ES's Almir Rodrigues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Téo Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A hard shot by Aloísio Arce from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Almir Rodrigues's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Igor Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Otávio Pombal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Almir Rodrigues, 1-2. Valeria's Igor Mattos got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Breno Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Almir Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Valeria's zone, Víktor Britto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Téo Correia came out of the goal and Víktor Britto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gonçalo Vidal's late challenge caught a Valeria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonçalo Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Diaurum ES getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Gonçalo Vidal hit a great ball. When the match was over Valeria could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Diaurum ES throughout the match.
