After 37 minutes, Basílio Figueiredo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Desgraçados Fut Ousadura and the Taquaril FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th minute, one of Desgraçados Fut Ousadura:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Desgraçados Fut Ousadura. In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Taquaril FC. Raphael Barbosa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aírton Quadros. 1-2. Enrique Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Quadros having to interfere. In the 50th minute, Enrique Matos made a precise shot to the right of Aírton Quadros. Desgraçados Fut Ousadura's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After the first half Taquaril FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrique Matos to make the kick off. In the 61st minute, Alex Furlan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafinha Moreno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerson Campidelis's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Enrique Matos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aírton Quadros. The goal made the score 1-4. After a rather tough play, Taquaril FC's Nico Freitas got a free kick in the 76th minute. Alex Furlan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Aírton Quadros made a huge save. In the 95th minute, Luís Paulo Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raphael Barbosa, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Desgraçados Fut Ousadura's Emanuel Palmeira got a good chance for a goal in the 103rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Taquaril FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
