The referee ignored Sinunga EC's protests and gave Dário Vides a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of TORRE FORTE booed when Sinunga EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Bernardo Ramalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodriguinho Quintal. TORRE FORTE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardo Ramalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Décio Paraíba struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. TORRE FORTE's Rodriguinho Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Ramalho in the 31st minute of play. Rodriguinho Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Ramalho in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, TORRE FORTE's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Ramalho came free, but Rodriguinho Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodriguinho Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Ramalho in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 minutes of play, Sinunga EC's Elivélton Quadros made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodriguinho Quintal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sinunga EC's Bernardo Ramalho got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Douglas do Vale was the one to do the kick off. The TORRE FORTE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodriguinho Quintal should have stopped the shot. After recieving a nice pass, TORRE FORTE's Sebastião Mendes tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Douglas do Vale scored 1-4 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tadeu Oliveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sinunga EC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
