Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ramiro Teles kicked off to start the match. 8 minutes into the match, Cfo Flamengo's Ulisses Maia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo de Brito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Clóvis Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Paulo Magalhães having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Tião da Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guajarauna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Cfo Flamengo's Pedrão Simões got a free kick in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Guajarauna's zone, Ezequiel Gaúcho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo de Brito came out of the goal and Ezequiel Gaúcho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Igor Pires took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luiz Paulo Magalhães. Cfo Flamengo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulisses Maia in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo de Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute, Ramiro Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Ramiro Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guajarauna's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Teles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Paulo Magalhães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ramiro Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Paulo Magalhães having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulisses Maia was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Ramiro Teles fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Luiz Paulo Magalhães, passed just outside the right post. In the 57th minute, Clóvis Saldanha fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Cfo Flamengo's zone, Ramiro Teles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Paulo Magalhães came out of the goal and Ramiro Teles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ezequiel Gaúcho might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo de Brito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ezequiel Gaúcho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th match minute, Cfo Flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. In the 72ndth minute of the game Ramiro Teles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cfo Flamengo's Luiz Paulo Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th match minute, Guajarauna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Pires to maneuver through the defense. Angelo de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulisses Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ulisses Maia came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Cfo Flamengo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulisses Maia couldn't finish the play. Angelo de Brito came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cfo Flamengo's Ezequiel Gaúcho. But to his dismay, Ezequiel Gaúcho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Guajarauna booed when Cfo Flamengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Pedro de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
