After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Loramendi Ugarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curupai's supporters rose to their feet, but Loramendi Ugarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Váldson Prado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jefferson Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Váldson Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edson Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SPORT CLUB OGUM's Váldson Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson Couto in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match, Jefferson Couto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Váldson Prado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Váldson Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jefferson Couto in the 24th minute of the match. Váldson Prado stood somewhat misplaced when Loramendi Ugarte came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 29 minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Loramendi Ugarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 35th match minute, SPORT CLUB OGUM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséias Koehler to maneuver through the defense. Váldson Prado was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Carlos Baptista capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Baptista really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Loramendi Ugartes short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Váldson Prado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

Oséias Koehler hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Edson Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loramendi Ugarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 minutes, Oséias Koehler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SPORT CLUB OGUM and the Curupai players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76thth minute of the game Loramendi Ugarte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SPORT CLUB OGUM's Váldson Prado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Loramendi Ugarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Váldson Prado was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Váldson Prado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in SPORT CLUB OGUM's zone, Edson Simão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Váldson Prado came out of the goal and Edson Simão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the game, Curupai's Jefferson Couto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Váldson Prado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Váldson Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jefferson Couto in the 93rd minute of the match. Váldson Prado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Lara in the 94th minute of play. Carlos Baptista hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Curupai's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
