The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5 minutes into the game, Sinunga EC's Bernardo Ramalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Paulo Magalhães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 13 minutes, Pedrão Simões mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cfo Flamengo and the Sinunga EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cfo Flamengo booed when Sinunga EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Adalberto Fernandez from long distance, 17 minutes into the match, got Tadeu Oliveira's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ezequiel Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ezequiel Gaúcho struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Tadeu Oliveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cfo Flamengo. Elivélton Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Luiz Paulo Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute of the match Gilvan Neto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Paulo Magalhães showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Elivélton Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeu Oliveira had great luck who in the 35thth minute grab hold of the ball when Ulisses Maia from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 42 minutes into the match, Cfo Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Ramalho came free, but Luiz Paulo Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Paulo Magalhães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elivélton Quadros's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The Cfo Flamengo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sinunga EC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elivélton Quadros to strike the kick off in the second half. Ezequiel Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeu Oliveira having to interfere. Tadeu Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Gaúcho in the 58th minute of play. Gilvan Neto hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Gaúcho in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeu Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 64 minutes into the match, Sinunga EC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Simões came free, but Tadeu Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65thth minute of the game Ezequiel Gaúcho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sinunga EC's Tadeu Oliveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Bernardo Ramalho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 72 played minutes Cfo Flamengo got a freekick which was hit by Bebeto de Lara. Luiz Paulo Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elivélton Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bernardo Ramalho came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Sinunga EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Ramalho couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Cfo Flamengo getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Erik dos Santos hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Bernardo Ramalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Paulo Magalhães was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a rather tough play, Cfo Flamengo's Erik dos Santos got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Bernardo Ramalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Luiz Paulo Magalhães made a huge save. Luiz Paulo Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elivélton Quadros in the 88th minute of the match. Elivélton Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ezequiel Gaúcho ran back to his position shaking his head. Sinunga EC's Tadeu Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Gaúcho in the 96th minute of play. Ulisses Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sinunga EC played a much better game than Cfo Flamengo and deserved their victory. The Cfo Flamengo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
