After 12 played minutes, DJHOUS FC's Gonçalo de Sena shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luiz Paulo Magalhães came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DJHOUS FC reached it. Dieguinho de Mendonça hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Ulisses Maia came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Cfo Flamengo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulisses Maia couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, Ulisses Maia made a precise shot to the right of Teodoro Araújo. DJHOUS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bebeto de Lara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teodoro Araújo. DJHOUS FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ulisses Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Teodoro Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cfo Flamengo's Ezequiel Gaúcho got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute Ulisses Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Maia in the 43rd minute of play forced DJHOUS FC's goalkeeper Teodoro Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ezequiel Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ezequiel Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 52nd minute, Bebeto de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Luiz de Lima missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 54 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Luiz Paulo Magalhães right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Ezequiel Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cfo Flamengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Gaúcho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Paulo Magalhães didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when DJHOUS FC's Dieguinho de Mendonça shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Ulisses Maia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodoro Araújo having to make a save. 70 minutes into the game, Conrado Pombal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DJHOUS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cfo Flamengo the free kick. Ulisses Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Araújo having to interfere. Frédson Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Ezequiel Gaúcho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Teodoro Araújo made a huge save. Ezequiel Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulisses Maia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodoro Araújo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Cfo Flamengo's Luiz Paulo Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Paranaense in the 87th minute of play. If Dieguinho de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dieguinho de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Paulo Magalhães having to interfere. Luiz Paulo Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dieguinho de Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Cfo Flamengo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cfo Flamengo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
