Spectators: 7277 (Terracing: 5460, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) DJHOUS FC's Dieguinho de Mendonça started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Curupai booed when DJHOUS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Curupai's Roger Borges proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Curupai from getting a goal against them. After 8 minutes of play, Curupai's Edson Simão made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodoro Araújo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 12 minutes into the match, Curupai's Loramendi Ugarte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodoro Araújo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jefferson Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Loramendi Ugarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loramendi Ugarte in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Araújo saved DJHOUS FC from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Frédson Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Loramendi Ugarte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curupai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Loramendi Ugarte put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Teodoro Araújo. When Curupai's Loramendi Ugarte in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DJHOUS FC's goalie prevented a goal. Edson Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Teodoro Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Eduardo de Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Loramendi Ugarte was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, DJHOUS FC's Teodoro Araújo got control of the ball when Loramendi Ugarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edson Simão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodoro Araújo having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loramendi Ugarte in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Araújo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the game, Loramendi Ugarte lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Teodoro Araújo. 81 minutes into the match, DJHOUS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Loramendi Ugarte came free, but Teodoro Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodoro Araújo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loramendi Ugarte's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Loramendi Ugarte put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Teodoro Araújo. After 89 minutes, Henrique Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DJHOUS FC and the Curupai players grew even worse after the yellow card. Loramendi Ugarte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodoro Araújo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. When Edson Simão came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Curupai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edson Simão couldn't finish the play. The DJHOUS FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Curupai were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
