With an extended leg and a bit of luck Váldson Prado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Douglas do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas do Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Décio Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Váldson Prado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodriguinho Quintal made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Ulisses Maia sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 32 minutes, Ulisses Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SPORT CLUB OGUM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulisses Maia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ulisses Trevisan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute of the match Doriva Medeiros shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Váldson Prado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ulisses Trevisan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Décio Paraíba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulisses Trevisan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Décio Paraíba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TORRE FORTE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Décio Paraíba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulisses Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Rodriguinho Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
