Spectators: 5050 (Terracing: 4050, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ismael Borges made the kick off which started today's match. Zé Roberto Marinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Aporá FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rony Vander came free, but Durval Vianna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 11 minutes, Ismael Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itacima's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute, Ismael Borges left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itacima fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 19 played minutes Aporá FC got a freekick which was hit by Betinho Pimenta. With his leg Durval Vianna managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Itacima's Ismael Borges fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 24th minute Ismael Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Vianna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Itacima's attentive Enio Dracena managed to snatch the ball when Maurício Mota made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. Benjamim Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos Peres in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Aporá FC's Carlinhos Peres got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Itacima's Ismael Borges in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aporá FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Adilson Velloso came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Itacima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adilson Velloso couldn't finish the play. Itacima's Enio Dracena quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Maurício Mota, made in the 46th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlinhos Peres made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Enio Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adilson Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durval Vianna having to interfere. In the 56thth minute of the game Ismael Borges who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aporá FC's Durval Vianna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Durval Vianna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Eduardo Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Benjamim Capixaba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Itacima's André Luiz Coutinho was substituted for Mauro Ferreira. Ismael Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Enio Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85thth minute of the game Ismael Borges who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aporá FC's Durval Vianna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, André Luiz Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itacima's supporters rose to their feet, but André Luiz Coutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Durval Vianna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luiz Coutinho in the 92nd minute of play forced Aporá FC's goalkeeper Durval Vianna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ismael Borges came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Itacima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Borges couldn't finish the play. André Luiz Coutinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Durval Vianna having to make a save. Durval Vianna came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Itacima's Ismael Borges. But to his dismay, Ismael Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Itacima fully deserved thier win.
