After a rather tough play, Croc F.C's Didi de Moraes got a free kick in the 20th minute. José Augusto Sampaio hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Gabriel Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cats Meow F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Falcão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eugênio Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Falcão in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bebeto Antunes saved Croc F.C from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Severino Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Croc F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Velasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benê Melo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natã Nóbrega was the one to do the kick off. Cats Meow F.C.'s Gabriel Falcão got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 62 minutes, Mané Arantes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Croc F.C and the Cats Meow F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Croc F.C getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Mané Arantes hit a great ball. Gabriel Falcão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Croc F.C defense, Dário Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bebeto Antunes. The Croc F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bebeto Antunes should have stopped the shot. After having played for 81 minutes, Natã Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Croc F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natã Nóbrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot by Walmir Maciel from long distance, 93 minutes into the match, got Bebeto Antunes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The Cats Meow F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cats Meow F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
