In the 4th minute, Dudu Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nildo Severo's late challenge caught a Cats Meow F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nildo Severo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rondinha's Nildo Severo got a free kick in the 6th minute. Nildo Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 13th match minute, Rondinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Lima to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Dudu Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benê Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Cats Meow F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrézinho Terra to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Richard Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benê Melo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Richard Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Benê Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27thth minute of the game Dudu Ferreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cats Meow F.C.'s Benê Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benê Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Lima in the 31st minute of the match. Richard Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benê Melo having to interfere. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cats Meow F.C.'s goalkeeper Benê Melo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dudu Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Benê Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrézinho Terra hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Benê Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Ferreira in the 50th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Benê Melo made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Richard Lima sent off a good shot on target. 56 minutes into the match, Nildo Severo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benê Melo. Cats Meow F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nildo Severo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Richard Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Dudu Ferreira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Richard Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benê Melo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dudu Ferreira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 71 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Dudu Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rondinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Dudu Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benê Melo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cats Meow F.C.'s Benê Melo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Cats Meow F.C. from getting a goal against them. Eugênio Chaves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugênio Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Manuel Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Ferreira in the 89th minute of play forced Cats Meow F.C.'s goalkeeper Benê Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Dudu Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benê Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cats Meow F.C.'s Sebastião Netto got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cats Meow F.C.'s zone, Richard Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benê Melo came out of the goal and Richard Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rondinha's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
