ScarMoura FC - Goodbye MZ's Noel Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Costa in the 14th minute of play. If Anselmo Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Valdir de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Angels's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdir de Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Fontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 19 minutes, Norberto Valladares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Angels and the ScarMoura FC - Goodbye MZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Noel Fontes came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Angels's Valdir de Barros. But to his dismay, Valdir de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 25th minute, Carlos Augusto Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Anselmo Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Dinei Marques had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Carlos Augusto Luz charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Augusto Luz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Costa made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Anselmo Costa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Noel Fontes. That made the score 0-3 in the 52 minute of play. Anselmo Costa took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Noel Fontes. Noel Fontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Costa got free with Noel Fontes in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angels's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
