In the 8th match minute, Madrugueira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Madrugueira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Penha came free, but Paulo José Vinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo José Vinhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazinho Alves in the 37th minute of the match. Glauco França hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Geração Futebol 2000's Enéas Perez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Geração Futebol 2000 from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Sampaio in the 41st minute of play forced Madrugueira FC's goalkeeper Paulo José Vinhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes Madrugueira FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Lopez. After a defensive mix-up in Madrugueira FC's zone, Mazinho Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo José Vinhas came out of the goal and Mazinho Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olavo Salles was the one to do the kick off. Paulo José Vinhas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mazinho Alves in the 54th minute. João Pedro Gerber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enéas Perez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Mazinho Alves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo José Vinhas having to make a save. If Olavo Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 68th minute, João Pedro Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Mazinho Alves made a precise shot to the right of Paulo José Vinhas. Madrugueira FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. João Pedro Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Enéas Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo José Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Salles in the 82nd minute of play. João Pedro Gerber blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enéas Perez having to make a save. 91 minutes into the match, Geração Futebol 2000's goal looked a bit too open when João Pedro Gerber came free, but Enéas Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo José Vinhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Salles in the 93rd minute of the match. João Pedro Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Madrugueira FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
