The Madrugueira FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo José Vinhas should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute Mário Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo José Vinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Manchester Cic booed when Madrugueira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glauco França didn't get a good kick on the ball. Madrugueira FC's Paulo José Vinhas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Madrugueira FC from getting a goal against them. Manchester Cic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hudson Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fellipe de Lara in the 53rd minute of play forced Madrugueira FC's goalkeeper Paulo José Vinhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Pedro Gerber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Fernando Alonso made a huge save. In the 57th minute, João Pedro Gerber sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Manchester Cic's Fernando Alonso didn't even have to move. After some careless play in the Madrugueira FC defense, Mário Lago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo José Vinhas. Madrugueira FC's Paulo José Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Lago in the 71st minute of play. Paulo José Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fellipe de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Fellipe Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The throw-in from Juan Blasco in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Madrugueira FC's Marco Lopez. After 80 minutes of play, Manchester Cic's Fellipe de Lara made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo José Vinhas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute, João Arósio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo José Vinhas was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Lago in the 91st minute of play forced Madrugueira FC's goalkeeper Paulo José Vinhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Mário Lago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo José Vinhas. Madrugueira FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mário Lago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0.
