The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, Geração Futebol 2000's Mané Penha got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Enéas Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Teixeira in the 57th minute of play. José Pedro Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Perez having to interfere.
