Cristóvão Mangueira's late challenge caught a Travessia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atlhetic Guariba Monkeys's Nilton Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Garcia in the 57th minute of play. Luisinho Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michel Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Dalmo do Vale sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Nilton Vidal threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Dalmo do Vale this time. In the 69th minute, Travessia FC's Marcel Garcia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nilton Vidal. Nilton Vidal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3.
