Genílson Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Adalberto Romero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vitinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buerarama SC the free kick. A collision led to Vitinho getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Adalberto Romero hit a great ball. Robinho de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Buerarama SC's zone, Adalberto Romero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafim Viana came out of the goal and Adalberto Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute, César Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adalberto Romero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Serafim Viana skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 14th minute, Kauan da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdo Prado hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Adrianinho de Senna got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Adalberto Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vitinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Adalberto Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafim Viana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adrianinho de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Serafim Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benedito Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdo Prado in the 36th minute of play. Buerarama SC's Valdo Prado got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benedito Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the match, Buerarama SC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelinho Fernandez came free, but Serafim Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 53rd minute, João Rossi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. João Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Benedito Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adrianinho de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrianinho de Senna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafim Viana having to make a save. Buerarama SC's Serafim Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Romero in the 69th minute of play. When Dinei Bertassi fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vitinho's protests and gave Dinei Bertassi a yellow card for diving instead. Buerarama SC were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Vitinho's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. César Travassos took the corner. The corner led Buerarama SC's César Travassos to fire away a dangerous shot which Benedito Teixeira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Benedito Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Vitinho's Benedito Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Rossi in the 80th minute of play. Adrianinho de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrianinho de Senna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafim Viana having to make a save. After 93 played minutes Vitinho got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Fernandez. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
