The referee ignored Sagres SS's protests and gave Alessandro Cerezo a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Sagres SS got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Cerezo. Adalberto Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kauan Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kauan Leão hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the game, Kauan Leão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Benedito Teixeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Adrianinho de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kauan Leão scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benedito Teixeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Vitinho players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sagres SS were winning 0-2.

Lauro da Mata could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Benedito Teixeira made a huge save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
