Tiago Cavalcante came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luisinho Freitas could save by the left post. 15 minutes into the match, Tiago Cavalcante notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Manituba's Luisinho Freitas. Luisinho Freitas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute, Mathias de Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Vito Mello made a precise shot to the right of Gilvan Secco. Manaira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The supporters of Manituba booed when Manaira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luiz Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sílvio Luiz Mota missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 33 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Gilvan Secco right hand side. A collision led to Manituba getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Breno Koehler hit a great ball. If Breno Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Breno Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gilvan Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Breno Koehler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vito Mello took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilvan Secco. Gilvan Secco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 60th minute, Breno Koehler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Manituba booed when Manaira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Koehler in the 73rd minute of play forced Manaira's goalkeeper Gilvan Secco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Breno Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manituba's supporters rose to their feet, but Breno Koehler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilvan Secco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, Manaira's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Koehler came free, but Gilvan Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manituba's Luisinho Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Cavalcante in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th minute, Manituba's Breno Koehler ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gilvan Secco. Gilvan Secco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. The Manaira fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Manituba were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
