William Chaves ran back to his position shaking his head. Adalberto Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adalberto Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Castelo de Areia E.C.'s Gabriel Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Gabriel Messias put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Benedito Teixeira. Gabriel Messias struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Benedito Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Messias in the 78th minute of the match.
