The audience thought a goal was coming when Márcio Varela got free with Hortêncio Cardoso in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, Pinhais F C's Frederico de Amaral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kaká Pinheiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frederico de Amaral made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Hugo Carioca tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kaká Pinheiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 54 played minutes Frederico de Amaral rounded Atlético BR's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Aníbal Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká Pinheiro having to interfere. Kaká Pinheiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aníbal Siqueira in the 60th minute. Atlético BR's Kaká Pinheiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Atlético BR from getting a goal against them. Frederico de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaká Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico de Amaral in the 66th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Frederico de Amaral fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Kaká Pinheiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aníbal Siqueira went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Hugo Carioca hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Hortêncio Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Fonseca in the 78th minute of play. Frederico de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aníbal Siqueiras short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Kaká Pinheiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Diguinho Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Frederico de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute, Aníbal Siqueira made a precise shot to the right of Kaká Pinheiro. Atlético BR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Kaká Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinhais F C's Aníbal Siqueira. But to his dismay, Aníbal Siqueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Kaká Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico de Amaral in the 95th minute of the match. Raphael Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Cardoso having to interfere. Pinhais F C played a much better game than Atlético BR and deserved their victory. The Atlético BR players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
