Barbosa Family United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wiliam Donatello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Elano Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam Donatello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agnaldo Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Elano Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oséias de Carvalho in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauro Mineiro saved Macacos from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oséias de Carvalho was the one to do the kick off. Nicolas Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nicolas Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséias de Carvalho in the 63rd minute of the match. Mauro Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Azevedo in the 90th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Narciso Fontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macacos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barbosa Family United the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Macacos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Barbosa Family United a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Baltazar Pimenta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Macacos's Mauro Mineiro. 1-3. The Barbosa Family United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Macacos's performance. The match ended with a win for Macacos.
