Diguinho Maranhense hit a great ball. Maurinho Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dieguinho Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Maurinho Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurinho Dante might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kaká Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maurinho Dante ran back to his position shaking his head. Juarês Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Iate SS's Maurinho Dante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kaká Pinheiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieguinho Ribeiro in the 30th minute of play forced Atlético BR's goalkeeper Kaká Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dieguinho Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kaká Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurinho Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Maurinho Dante made a precise shot to the right of Kaká Pinheiro. Atlético BR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Gilson Loyola made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Laércio Esteves sent off a good shot on target. Laércio Esteves hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Cesinha Gerber sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kaká Pinheiro skillfully saved the ball. Gilson Loyola was a little too slow when Raphael Fonseca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-3. The Atlético BR players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Iate SS were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raphael Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Márcio Varela struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Gilson Loyola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético BR. Gilson Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Fonseca in the 58th minute of the match. If Dieguinho Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Maurinho Dante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Válbson Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 72nd minute, Maurinho Dante reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kaká Pinheiro. The goal made the score 1-4. When Dieguinho Ribeiro came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Iate SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dieguinho Ribeiro couldn't finish the play. Dieguinho Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maurinho Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká Pinheiro having to interfere. Gilson Loyola came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético BR's Raphael Fonseca. But to his dismay, Raphael Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. After 92 played minutes Atlético BR got a freekick which was hit by Diguinho Maranhense. Dieguinho Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká Pinheiro having to interfere. Válbson Domingues struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Kaká Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iate SS.
