The shot was a little too simple and Mário de Moraes could save by the left post. With a little luck, Seixa's Mário de Moraes got control of the ball when Gonçalo de Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Terciotti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Terciotti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Váldson Valadares came free, but Joaquim Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sílvio Luís Araújo struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Joaquim Batista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seixa. Joaquim Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos Toscano in the 16th minute of the match. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Terciotti FC's goalkeeper Joaquim Batista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Váldson Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Joaquim Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If César Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seixa's Mário de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Paiva in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Váldson Valadares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquim Batista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Tomé Schmidt hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Váldson Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Seixa booed when Terciotti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomé Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Sílvio Luís Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seixa's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Luís Araújo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Batista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonçalo de Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Terciotti FC's Gonçalo de Alcântara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mário de Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Váldson Valadares took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Joaquim Batista to make any attempt to save it. Joaquim Batista made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Faustão Martins sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th match minute, Terciotti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Váldson Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
