Pinhais F C's Hortêncio Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Váldson Valadares in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute, Aníbal Siqueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pinhais F C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Frederico de Amaral took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Mário de Moraes to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sílvio Luís Araújo during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sílvio Luís Araújo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Frederico de Amaral made the kick off in the second half. Mário de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Siqueira in the 57th minute of the match. If Frederico de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pinhais F C's Frederico de Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 65 played minutes Seixa got a freekick which was hit by Faustão Martins. Hortêncio Cardoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Váldson Valadares's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pinhais F C! In the 79th minute, Váldson Valadares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Seixa's Mário de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Siqueira in the 81st minute of play. In the 85thth minute of the game Aníbal Siqueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seixa's Mário de Moraes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A well placed Váldson Valadares short distance shot in the 87th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Seixa's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Pinhais F C had won, even though Seixa had held more of the ball.
