With an all-out effort, Zaion F.C.'s Alberto Vidal threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jeremias da Costa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 16 minutes into the match, André Luís de Castro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Zaion F.C.'s Rafael Souto. Rafael Souto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes in the game Vladimir Sampaio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jeremias da Costa. Caetano Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Souto having to interfere. Remo Gonçalves scored 0-3 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael Souto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Zaion F.C.'s Jeremias da Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Vidal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Remo Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Breno de Sena made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Souto. Zaion F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The Zaion F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Faca na Caveira FC were winning 0-5.

The wind increased when Jeremias da Costa made the kick off in the second half. Caetano Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remo Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandre Bueno kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes, Zaion F.C.'s Matheus Gaspar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alberto Vidal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zaion F.C. reached it. Alberto Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arí Munhoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Remo Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Faca na Caveira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remo Gonçalves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafael Souto made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Breno de Sena sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes into the game, Cacá da Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Faca na Caveira FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zaion F.C. the free kick. Zaion F.C.'s Arí Munhoz got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Faca na Caveira FC's Dário Botelho got a free kick in the 76th minute. Rafael Souto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caetano Eger's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Alberto Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arí Munhoz in the 82nd minute of play. Cacá da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Arí Munhoz struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Alberto Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zaion F.C.. In the 92nd minute Caetano Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Faca na Caveira FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zaion F.C. throughout the match.
