Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Valdo Félix took the kick off in the first half of the match. Benê Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Real Iputinga's Nilton Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Régis Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Real Iputinga's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme de Senna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdo Félix. After having played for 25 minutes, Vânderson Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Iputinga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vânderson Carneiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Nilton Fernandez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Iputinga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 34th match minute, Pãfzinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê Vidal to maneuver through the defense. Vânderson Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiori Soeiro having to interfere. Fiori Soeiro had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Nilton Fernandez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Nilton Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Fiori Soeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Iputinga. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Angelo Amaral's late challenge caught a Pãfzinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pãfzinho booed when Real Iputinga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Real Iputinga defense, Valdo Félix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Guilherme de Senna. The Real Iputinga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Guilherme de Senna should have stopped the shot. After 66 played minutes Real Iputinga got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Amaral. Real Iputinga's Luiz Guilherme de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdo Félix in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pãfzinho's Armandinho Nunes got a free kick in the 69th minute. Gilberto Braga's late challenge caught a Pãfzinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilberto Braga helped the player get up and apologised. Angelo Amaral hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Valdo Félix took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Guilherme de Senna. Luiz Guilherme de Senna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Vânderson Carneiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fiori Soeiro. That made the score 2-3 in the 79 minute of play. Armandinho Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Real Iputinga's zone, Jeferson Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Guilherme de Senna came out of the goal and Jeferson Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Pãfzinho's Fiori Soeiro got control of the ball when Nilton Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute, Valdo Félix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Real Iputinga's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
