André Luís Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Prado in the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to cajamar getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Osvaldinho Salgado hit a great ball. The audience cheered when Robinho Saraiva's long shot passed Jorge Mattos's right side. It was 0-2, 19 minutes into the match. OFF's André Luís Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Prado in the 30th minute of play. Jorge Mattos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Carlos Augusto Leme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to OFF getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Sérgio Netto hit a great ball. Olavo Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Toscano having to interfere. After a rather tough play, OFF's Henrique de Carvalho got a free kick in the 41st minute. cajamar's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 43rd minute of the game, when André Félix after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of OFF's goal. André Félix was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. 47 minutes into the match, OFF's goalkeeper André Luís Toscano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aílton Borges. The cajamar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. OFF were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Augusto Leme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aílton Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. André Luís Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olavo Prado in the 53rd minute of play forced OFF's goalkeeper André Luís Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Mattos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. André Luís Toscano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, Osvaldinho Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Augusto Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the game, Manoel Botelho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jorge Mattos. Manoel Botelho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. cajamar's Jorge Mattos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save cajamar from getting a goal against them. Olavo Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Toscano having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Zézinho Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Manoel Botelho sped through cajamar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jorge Mattos. André Luís Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Prado in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched OFF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
