Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Umberto Quintal got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th match minute, Cussauro Mz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. Gerson Baiano stood somewhat misplaced when Umberto Quintal came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 11 minute. After some careless play in the Cussauro Mz defense, Luís Guilherme Borges kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Willian Pombal. The Cussauro Mz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willian Pombal should have stopped the shot. Ronaldo Dante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Willian Pombal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26thth minute of the game Luís Guilherme Borges who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cussauro Mz's Willian Pombal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Novaes in the 30th minute of play forced Cussauro Mz's goalkeeper Willian Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willian Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Guilherme Borges in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilmar Tróia in the 42nd minute of play forced Arcangelo's goalkeeper Gerson Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arcangelo's Gerson Baiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Arcangelo from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Nilmar Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cussauro Mz's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilmar Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerson Baiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Guilherme Borges was the one to do the kick off. If Umberto Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerson Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberto Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Filipe Prestes's late challenge caught a Cussauro Mz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipe Prestes helped the player get up and apologised. Umberto Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Guilherme Borges blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Willian Pombal having to make a save. Umberto Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Umberto Quintal in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerson Baiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 97thth minute of the game Umberto Quintal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arcangelo's Gerson Baiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
