José Carlos Fontes charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Thomás de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Mazza in the 7th minute of play. When Betão Matorin came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Marreco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Betão Matorin couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Matheus Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mesquita Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Matheus Mangueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matheus Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Leão having to interfere. Matheus Mangueira spun around in front of the goal 21 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Marreco FC's goal. If Adriano Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Betão Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marreco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Betão Matorin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Betão Matorin was the one to do the kick off. Thomás de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betão Matorin in the 54th minute of the match. Betão Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Betão Matorin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Horácio de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Leão having to interfere. Luciano Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Luciano Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio de Senna in the 70th minute of the match. When Mesquita Futebol Clube's Horácio de Senna in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Mesquita Futebol Clube booed when Marreco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernani Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luciano Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matheus Mangueira in the 80th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Marreco FC got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Rodrigues. Luciano Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matheus Mangueira in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 86 minutes, Matheus Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mesquita Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matheus Mangueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luciano Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matheus Mangueira in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st play minute Adriano Mazza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thomás de Azevedo. 0-1. Mesquita Futebol Clube's Matheus Mangueira got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Marreco FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
