Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renato de Amaral in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Luís Toscano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11thth minute of the game Vânderson Carneiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OFF's André Luís Toscano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlos Augusto Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário Neto in the 26th minute of play forced OFF's goalkeeper André Luís Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes OFF got a freekick which was hit by Benê Ramalho. 40 minutes into the match, OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Vânderson Carneiro came free, but André Luís Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Real Iputinga booed when OFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robinho Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Renato de Amaral made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, OFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Netto to maneuver through the defense. André Luís Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato de Amaral in the 52nd minute of play. Romário Neto struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. André Luís Toscano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Iputinga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Augusto Leme in the 55th minute of play forced Real Iputinga's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Real Iputinga fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Real Iputinga's Renato de Amaral looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luiz Guilherme de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Leme in the 68th minute of play. OFF's André Luís Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato de Amaral in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, OFF's Benê Ramalho got a free kick in the 70th minute. A collision led to OFF getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Manoel Botelho hit a great ball. Luiz Guilherme de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoel Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Guilherme de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Netto in the 77th minute of play. In the 79thth minute of the game Renato de Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OFF's André Luís Toscano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Real Iputinga's Renato de Amaral in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye OFF's goalie prevented a goal. Sérgio Netto got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 83 played minutes OFF got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Netto. Renato de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute of the match, Renato de Amaral tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but André Luís Toscano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Real Iputinga's Renato de Amaral in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye OFF's goalie prevented a goal. After 91 played minutes Romário Neto rounded OFF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renato de Amaral in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Luís Toscano saved OFF from getting behind. In the 96th minute Romário Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Luís Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The OFF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Real Iputinga were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
