Spectators: 6676 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 0) Rockefeller F. C.'s Yaman Yumlu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5th play minutes Yaman Yumlu shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Marquinhos Mendonça and just under the crossbar into goal. João Proença charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Proença the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marquinhos Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Rockefeller F. C. booed when Itapissuma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fábio Alvarenga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th match minute, Itapissuma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Eduardo Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 26 minutes, João Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rockefeller F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but João Proença was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute João Vítor Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marquinhos Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Yaman Yumlu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Itapissuma's Marquinhos Mendonça. Marquinhos Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hudson Perez made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmílson da Silveira got free with Marquinhos Mendonça in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. João Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Marquinhos Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Fábio Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Itapissuma's goal looked a bit too open when Yaman Yumlu came free, but Marquinhos Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yaman Yumlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 68 minutes of play, Rockefeller F. C.'s Edmílson da Silveira made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marquinhos Mendonça was left in no man's land by his defense there! Waldir Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Jaime Ceresso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rômulo Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Eduardo Ramalho in the 74th minute of play forced Rockefeller F. C.'s goalkeeper Jaime Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 played minutes Rockefeller F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Breckenfeld. Marquinhos Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Loureiro in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Itapissuma booed when Rockefeller F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Proença didn't get a good kick on the ball. Itapissuma's Marquinhos Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Itapissuma from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute Waldir Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marquinhos Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Rockefeller F. C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Itapissuma throughout the match.
